In April 2024, Mercedes-AMG unveiled the 600 kW/1 420 N.m GT 63 S E Performance, the most rapid-accelerating Mercedes-AMG ever produced by the Affalterbach brand. Employing Mercedes-AMG’s familiar 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8, the AMG GT 63 Pro is endowed with 450 kW and 850 N.m of torque, 20 kW and 50 N.m more than the standard GT 63. According to the Three-pointed Star brand, these figures allow the GT 63 Pro to dispatch the 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.2 seconds. Although matching the claimed 0-100 km/h sprint time of the non-Pro model, the GT 63 Pro reaches the 200 km/h marker from a standstill five-tenths of a second quicker than the standard GT 63. AMG claims a 0-200 km/h time of 10.9 seconds. The top speed is rated at 317 km/h (2 km/h more than the standard V8 variant).

In addition to the increases in power and torque, the GT 63 Pro boasts revised aerodynamics in the shape of a redesigned front apron, which integrates additional air deflectors, a fixed rear wing, and additional underbody air deflectors, which are reminiscent of the items found on the AMG One. According to the firm, thanks to the aero package, there is “around” 15 kg more downforce on the rear axle.
