Accessibility Features

Our platform includes the following accessibility features:

Keyboard Navigation

Full keyboard accessibility allows users to navigate without a mouse using Tab, Enter, and arrow keys.

Resizable Text

Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality using browser zoom controls.

Color Contrast

We maintain high contrast ratios between text and background for better readability.

Screen Reader Support

Our platform is compatible with popular screen readers like JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.

Alt Text for Images

All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text for screen readers.

Descriptive Links

Links use descriptive text rather than generic "click here" phrases.

Proper Heading Structure

We use proper heading hierarchies (H1, H2, H3) for logical document structure.

Error Identification

Form errors are clearly identified and described in text.

We conduct regular accessibility audits using:

  • Automated testing tools (WAVE, axe, Lighthouse)

  • Screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver)
  • User testing with people with disabilities

Our goal is to achieve and maintain WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across our entire platform.

Assistive Technologies

Our platform is designed to work with the following assistive technologies:

If you use a different assistive technology and experience issues, please contact us so we can investigate and improve compatibility.

Known Limitations

We are actively working to address the following known accessibility limitations:

  • Third-Party Content: Some third-party integrations (e.g., maps, payment processors) may have accessibility limitations beyond our control.
  • Legacy PDFs: Some older documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to replace them with accessible HTML versions.
  • Complex Data Tables: Some data tables may be difficult to navigate with screen readers. We are simplifying these structures.
  • Video Content: Some older videos may lack captions. New videos include captions and transcripts.

We have a roadmap to address these limitations and welcome your input on prioritizing improvements.
